Title:
OPPOSED MEMBER FOR MULTISTYLUS ELECTRODE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5978866
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a recording image free from uneven density or the like with a discharge gap kept constant between a multistylus electrode and an electrostatic recording body by pressing the recording body on the multistylus electrode while the elastic modulus in the center of an opposed member to contact it is made smaller than that of the periphery thereof.

CONSTITUTION: An opposed member 7 such as sponge rubber is mounted on the surface of a base 8 with the elastic modulus made smaller in the center thereof than that of the periphery thereof. This opposed member 7 causes an electrostatic recording belt 5 to be pressed to the tip face of a multistylus electrode 3 from the opposite side thereof 3. The opposed member 7 looks flat in the surface with an even thickness before pushed by the belt 5 and as pushed, it is elastically deformed hollow at the center thereof, namely, taking the shape along the curve of the tip face of the electrode 3. Discharge gaps between the stylus electrodes 1 and the belt 5 are kept constant over the surface of the multistyluses 3.
