Title:
SPECTACLES FOR OPERATING COMPUTER TERMINAL MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6128923
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To eliminate the eyes' fatigue and to permit long-term operation by supporting colored lenses apart from the eyeball to the extent of preventing the lenses from entering the visual field when the eyes are shifted downward while the colored lenses are held mounted to the position where the lenses face exactly the eyeball when spectacles are worn and providing successively transparent lenses below the colored lenses by curving said lenses so as to be positioned near to the face.

CONSTITUTION: An inside polarizing lens 1 and an outside polarizing lens 2 are used in two pieces a set to provide a polarizing effect with the spectacles for terminal operation for a person having the normal eyes. Such lenses soften the light from a display which is the transmitted light thus changing the same to the less eye-stimulating light. The spectacles consist of temples 3 for supporting the polarizing lenses by being hooked to the ears, pads 4 for supporting the polarizing spectacle by being applied on the nose, frame bodies 5 for the inside polarizing lenses and frame bodies 6 for the outside polarizing lenses. The frame bodies support the polarizing lenses so that at least either of the polarizing lenses can be turned. The means for turning the lens may consist of turning knobs provided to the respective lenses so as to project therefrom or may consist of teeth provided to part of the lens circumferences and be provided with racks or chains to be engaged therewith so that the right and left outside polarizing lenses can be simultaneously turned.
