Abstract:
PURPOSE:To stabilize the low contacting resistance of a slide contact by adding the prescribed amount of special component in Cu, thereby raising the softening temperature. CONSTITUTION:0.5-1.5% by weight of total of at least one of Ga, Mn, Ge, Ni, Si and Al is added to Cu to form a contact material, and a contact piece 1a is formed of the materal. A brush contact 3 having a brush plate material 3 made of Ag-Cu alloy is slidably contacted oppositely to each of upper and lower outer peripheral surfaces of a commutator 1 having 3 contact pieces 1a.
