Title:
PROCESSING METHOD FOR ADJUSTING BIOSENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS60155958
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce the variation in the sensitivity of a biosensor while heightening it by immersing a physiologically active substance immobilized thereon into a substrate solution.

CONSTITUTION: After the making of a biosensor 6 having an electrode covered with a physiologically active film 6a with an enzyme immobilized thereon, a substrate solution of the sensor 6 flows for 30min. For example, in the case of a sensor 6 having a platinum electrode with a glucoseoxidase-immobilized film 6a, a 1M solution of a glucose as substrate of an enzyme thereof is made to flow. This eliminates variation in the sensitivity between glucose sensors while improving the sensitivity by about 30W40% than that prior to the processing. To measure the concentration of the substrate, a buffer liquid is fed with a pump 4 from a buffer liquid tank 1 and a sample is injected at sample inlet 5 to measure a diluted sample with a sensor 6. A waste measuring liquid is sent to a waste liquor reservoir 2.
