PURPOSE: To provide a titled device which reduces the size of a counter weight (CW) and reduces the space for attaching said weight by attaching the CW via a link to said device and making large the length of said link and kinetic energy.

CONSTITUTION: A crank shaft 1 of a crank type press machine provides linear forward and backward motion to the link 4 via a connecting rod 3 attached eccentrically thereto when the crank shaft rotates. Then the link 4 turns around a pivot 6 and moves back and forth the CW7 along a guide 9 in the vertical direction without rolling. The static and dynamic balance can be therefore obtd. by making large the length of the link and kinetic energy in accordance with the weight requiring balancing. The required balance is thus obtd. with the small-sized CW and eventually the smaller space for attaching the CW is required.
