Title:
DETECTING DEVICE FOR SPEED OF REVOLUTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5839257
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To detect the position and speed of a rotor by a small-sized device wherein the number of the magnetic poles of a multipole magnet is placed in a prescribed relationship with the number of magnetic poles of a field magnet and the pitches of a generating coil is made to be equal with the pitches of the magnetic poles of the multipole magnet. CONSTITUTION:A ring-shaped field magnet 3 and a multipole magnet 5 on one side of a speed detecting magnet are fixed to a rotor yoke 2 fitted monolithically to a rotating shaft, in such a manner that the latter is positioned concentrically with the former located on the side of the rotating shaft 1 and is opposite to the side of the outer periphery of the former. The field magnet 3 is magnetized with alternate N and S poles numbering m, while the multipole magnet 4 are magnetized with alternate N and S poles numbering (2n+1) times as many as the number (m) of magnetic poles of the field magnet 3. A generating coils provided on a printed plate 8 has the same number with the number (m) of the magnetic poles of the multipole magnet 4, and the same pitches with those of the magnetic poles of the magnet 4, and is formed in a zigzag manner.
