Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the deterioration in quality of a reproduced picture due to reset operation of a phase modulation circuit, and to decrease the scale of circuit by using a re-interleave circuit as the phase modulation circuit.

CONSTITUTION: The changeover switches 2A, 2B, 39A and 39B are switched in interlocking with each other, and at the process mode, a reproduced color signal with interleaving processing at a re-interleave circuit 3 is corrected for time axis with a digital memory 5. On the other hand, at the direct mode, a frequency modulation processing of double heterodyne system is made for a reference subcarrier chrominance signal formed with a clock signal generating circuit 16 with a chroma signal system 30 of the circuit 3, and an external reference frequency signal is outputted from the signal system 30 via a terminal 10. This external reference frequency signal is provided with a frequency error corresponding to the time axis of a reproduced color video signal with the frequency signal from a clock signal generating circuit 12 and phase-modulated with the comparison output from a phase comparator 11.
