PURPOSE: A thermoplastic resin composition having a good metallic luster, providing a molding with an inconspicuous weld line and excellent in rigidity, dimensional stability and mechanical strength, comprising a transparent thermoplastic resin, a color pigment and carbon fiber.

CONSTITUTION: A thermoplastic resin composition having a metallic luster, comprising 100pts.wt. composition comprising 90W99.9wt% transparent thermoplastic resin (e.g., PVC, PS, or acrylate) and 10W0.1wt% color pigment and 3W60pts.wt. carbon fiber. This composition can be molded by usual molding processes such as injection molding, extrusion molding, and compression molding. The produced molding has an inconspicuous weld line, a good metallic luster and improved rigidity, dimensional stability and mechanical strength, and therefore can be used in various fields where these properties are necessary.
