PURPOSE: To make the balance between rigidity and shock resistance favorable, by granulating specific propylene/ethylene block copolymer powder, which is obtained by polymerizing by making use of a stereoregular catalyst, by making use of a granulator consisting of a continuous kneading part and a gear pump.
CONSTITUTION: A block copolymer whose ethylene content is 3W30wt% is obtained by polymerizing propylene by making use of a well-known stereoregular catalyst as propylene/ethylene block copolymer powder, to begin with, and then polymerizing ethylene or the ethylene and the propylene. The propylene/ethylene block copolymer powder obtained is granulated by making use of a granulator consisting of a continuous kneading part and a gear pump. With this construction, the block copolymer which is superior in the balance between shock resistance and rigidity is obtained.
