Title:
ELECTRIC CURRENT SENSITIZED TRANSFER RECORDING MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS59120495
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: An electric current sensitized transfer recording material excellent in dot quality, mechanical strength, durability and heat resistance and easy to handle, which is comprised of a base layer consisting mainly of an aromatic polyamide and carbon black and an ink layer.

CONSTITUTION: The objective electric current sensitized transfer recording material 1, 1' is obtained by providing a two-layer construction consisting of, in the order of from a recording electrode side, a base layer 11 comprising 70W 97% of an aromatic polyamide [e.g., poly(m-phenyleneisophthalamide)] and 3W 30% of carbon black and an ink layer 13 (e.g., a layer comprising low molecular weight polystyrene, a wax, a coloring component or the like) or a three-layer construction of the base layer 11, the ink layer 13 and an intermediate layer 12 (e.g., a layer comprising a thermoplastic resin such as a copolymer of vinyl chloride and vinyl acetate, a flexibility-imparting agent such as a phthalic acid ester, a silicone resin base intermediate releasable layer 12' or the like) which is provided, as required, between the base layer 11 and the ink layer 13.
