Abstract:
PURPOSE:To control to continue the operation of a motor at the rotating speed of certain degree even if a defect might occur in a rotating speed detector by detecting the upper and lower limit values of a firing phase angle of a control element. CONSTITUTION:An upper limit value detector 13 for detecting the upper limit value of a firing phase angle for a reference rotating speed and a lower limit value detector 14 for detecting the lower limit value of the firing phase angle for the reference rotating speed are provided. When the value of an increasing/ decreasing unit 10 is the upper limit value or higher or the lower limit value or lower, the unit 10 is set to the upper or lower limit value irrespective of the output of an error detector 9. Thus, even if the rotating speed detecror might become defective, the motor does not become the worst state of the highest speed or stop, but can continue the operation at the rotating speed of certain degree.
