Title:
LASER BEAM SCANNING SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS60194418
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To form a reproduced picture surely corresponding to a read picture without using a complex lens system by making a laser beam incident on a photodetector through an optical fiber sheet on which optical fibers are arrayed like a prescribed shape.

CONSTITUTION: An image formation lens 4 of a laser beam scanning system is not an fθ lens having complex constitution, but is a general lens and an optical fiber sheet 6 is arranged adjacently to the photodetector 5. At the incident end 6a of the sheet 6, respective fiber end surfaces are arranged so that tension angles to the radial center of the beam scanning are actually matched. At the projection end 6b, respective fiber end surfaces are linearly arranged. Since the optical fiber sheet 6 is used, a beam spot moving speed proportional to the scanning angle of the beam can be obtained and a precisely reproduced picture can be formed without using the fθ lens.
