PURPOSE: To decrease the contact area of a tape rubbing part and to prevent the damage of a tape, by using a tape guide consisting of an element having a curved surface at its tip.
CONSTITUTION: Plural units of pinks 7a having a curved surface at each tip are combined to obtain a tape rubbing part 7, and a pin 8 controls the width direction of a tape 4 while a tape is traveling. These pins 8 are bundled together and then fixed to a tape traveling/rubbing support member 9. The main shaft of a pin group 7a is set as a rule in the direction of a normal line to a rubbing surface to the tape 4 and then put into a base 9. The material of the pin 7a uses as SUS material or seramics of high surface hardness, synthetic resin, etc. Then the group 7a is fixed in a body to the base 9 with screws, etc.
