PURPOSE: To make is possible to adjust the amount of ink adhered to the surface of a metal roller in an extremely easy manner, by displaying the adjusting amount of an ink adjusting valve separating from and contacting with the surface of the metal roller rotated in an ink adhered state by a micrometer or a dial gauge.
CONSTITUTION: In a marking machine wherein ink adhered to the surface of a metal roller 2 rotated in such a state that the lower part thereof is immersed in the ink is regulated in the ink adhesion amount thereof an ink amount regulating mechanism 9 and successively transferred to a roller group wherein a rubber roll 3, an engraved drum 4, a transfer drum 5 and a main drum 6 are rotated in successively and mutually contacted relation to each other to print a product contacted with the dram 6 by a desired mark, the regulating amount of an ink regulating valve capable of approaching the metal roller 1 and parting therefrom is displayed by a micrometer 11 or a dial gauge. For example, a mnipulation knob 10 is provided to the ink regulating valve 9 and the spindle 12 of the micrometer 11 is contacted with the trailing end thereof.
