PURPOSE: The titled composition excellent in ultraviolet ray-curability, conductivity, adhesive property, and surface smoothness, prepared by mixing a polymerizable compound with a photosensitizer, a conductive substance, and a specified phosphorus compound.
CONSTITUTION: The titled composition prepared by mixing (A) a polymerizable compound (e.g., styrene or methyl (meth)-acrylate) with (B) a photosensitizer (e.g., 2-hydroxy-2-methylpropiophenone, or benzil dimethyl ketal), (C) a conductive substance (e.g., Ag, Cu, or Al), and (D) a phosphorus compound of formulas I or/and II [wherein R1, R2, and R3, and R3 are each H, (substituted) alkyl, or (substituted) alkyl], e.g., photphorus acid, triethyl phosphite, phosphoric acid, or dimethyl phosphate. Because of the absence of any volatile solvent, there can be obtained effects of forming a circuit in good reproducibility without any change in viscosity during printing or coating; and of improving working efficiency without restriction of a pot life otherwise encountered in thermosetting resins, and by the addition of compound D, compound C can be dispersed uniformly, with consequent improvement in conductivity.
