PURPOSE: To try the improvement of moisture proof by a method wherein a metal film coated plastic film consisting of a plastic film coated a metal film on the surface is provided in the inside or on the surface of thermosetting resin molded a part of an electric apparatus.
CONSTITUTION: A platic film 7a is provided in thermosetting resin 6 to surround a stator core 2 and a stator winding 3 and a metal film 7b is coated on the surface of the film 7a. The metal film coated plastic film 7 is formed by the film 7 and the metal film 7a. A polyethylene film, polypropylene film or the like are used as the plastic film 7a and a metal evaporation film such as an aluminum evaporation film is used as the metal film 7b. The metal film coated plastic film 7 controls the penetration of humidity to the required part of the electric apparatus from the outside through the thermosetting resin 6 and humidity proof of the thermosetting resin 6 can be improved to increase reliability.
