PURPOSE: To execute atomization of liquid effectively by introducing a liquid stream into a compressed gaseous stream from an oblique and reverse direction and ejecting the compressed gas contg. the liquid from a small orifice.
CONSTITUTION: Compressed gas is introduced into a compressed gas chamber 2 and is ejected from an ejecting port 5 through an orifice 3. An outlet port 7 of liquid is provided toward obliquely upward to the neighbourhood of an inlet 4 of the orifice in the compressed gas chamber 2, and the liquid to be ejected is introduced in the oblique and reverse direction to the gaseous stream. The outlet port 7 of the liquid is preferred to be protruded into the inside of the compressed gas chamber 2, and the compressed gas contg. the liquid is ejected from the compressed gas chamber through the orifice 3 and the liquid is thus atomized. In this stage, it is preferred to form a recess 8 centering the outlet port 5 of the orifice and opening outward. Thus, vortex stream is formed in the ejected stream and the liquid adhered to the peripheral wall of the recess 8 is atomized again.
