Abstract:
PURPOSE: To manufacture Ba ferrite powder having high homogeneity and giving high performance sintered ferrite by mixing metallic alkoxide of a uni- W quinquevalent metal other than Ba with Ba alkoxide and by hydrolyzing the mixture.
CONSTITUTION: ≥1 Kind of metallic alkoxide represented by a formula M(OR)n (where M is a uni- W quinquevalent metal other than Ba, and R is alkyl) is mixed with metallic alkoxide represented by a formula Ba(OR)n. By hydrolyzing the alkoxide mixture, hexagonal system amorphous Ba ferrite powder having ≤0.1μm particle size can be obtd. The fine powder may be heat-treated to obtain fine powder with high crystallizability.
