Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve energy generating efficiency, by controlling fluid pressure out of the pressure source with a fluid pressure controller at time of turbine stoppage, while inducting the whole quantity of fluid from the pressure source into the turbine at time of its operation and driving it by a control signal from the fluid pressure controller.

CONSTITUTION: When an energy recovery turbine plant 11 is in a state of normal operation, a governor valve 12 is kept full open intact, and when furnace top pressure still remains dropped even if a variable stator blade 15 reaches the lower limit, the opening of a valve 12 is reduced, controlling the furnace top pressure. In contrast with this, when the furnace top pressure goes yet up, whereas the exhaust gas flow of a blast furnace 2 is abnormally increased and the variable stator blade 15 reaches the upper limit, a pressure regulating valve 7 standing by ready to operate at a rather high furnace pressure setting value PBS opens and controls the furnace top pressure. Like this, both a fluid pressure controller 8 of a plant 1 and a fluid pressure controller 26 of the plant 11 act in concert with each other to efficiently recover exhaust gas energy of the blast furnace.
