PURPOSE: To obtain a photo-fixing type self-coloring pressure-sensitive recording paper by coating a photo-setting type capsule whose inclusion is mixed with a reactant and a finely divided or capsulated co-reactant on the surface of a supporter.
CONSTITUTION: Micro capsules encased with a photo-setting resin, a photo-polymerization initiator and a reactant mainly and a finely divided or micro-capsulated coreactant capable of forming a coloring substance upon contact with said reactant are provided on the same surface of a supporter to obtain a pressure- sensitive recording paper. When the recording paper thus obtained is pressed to obtain a recording image and its coated face is exposed to light, the inclusion of unbroken capsules is hardened to become rigid capsules. Thus, even when unexpected impaction is applied, no breakage occurs in the capsules, no coloration occurs, and the recording image is fixed. The recording paper can be utilized even as recording paper for preventing alternation, etc.
