Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enhance the power transmission efficiency and to improve the durability of a belt device by covering at least either a pivotal projection of a spanning member or a hole of a transmission piece with a lubricating material layer. CONSTITUTION:Pivotal projections 3b projecting sideways from both sides of a spanning member 3 are inserted in holes 6c of a transmission piece 6, so that the transmission piece 6 is supported by the pivotal projections 3b. At least either the pivotal projections 3b of the spanning member 3 or the holes 6c of the transmission piece 6 are covered with lubricating material layers 30, 60. Thus, friction and abrasion caused by mutual contact between both members can be reduced to enhance the power transmission efficiency and improve durability of a belt device.
