PURPOSE: A drug for external use, having a support with tight sealing property provided on the outside of an application drug containing a pharmacologically active substance dispersed in an adhesive base material, capable of preventing the evaporation of moisture and deterioration of a chemical, etc. and improving the absorption from the skin, and suitable for application to a part of the ears e.g. an ear lobe.

CONSTITUTION: A drug for external use 1 obtained by filling an application drug 3 containing a pharmacologically active substance dispersed in an adhesive base material in a lightweight, easily handable, workable and moldable cuplike support 2. A sheet of easily relesable wax paper is attached to the surface of the application drug 3 to give a tightly sealed state, and the drug 1 is applied to a site corresponding to the desired pharmacological action by peeling the paper in use. Alternatively, a thin, slender and bendable strip part 14 is attached to a cup part 12, and the surface of the application drug 13 is applied to an ear lobe. The strip part 14 is bent at the bottom of the ear lobe to prevent the peeling thereof. Needlelike protrusions 35 a little longer than a cup part 32 are provided in the interior of the cup part 32, and penetrated into part of the corneal layer of the skin to increase the absorption ratio of the drug in application. The absorption of a high-molecular weight chemical can also be carried out.
