PURPOSE: To block the loss information, by providing two rolls of recording paper and automatically supplying paper from another roll, if one roll is exhausted.

CONSTITUTION: During the use of a roll recording paper 8, since the friction coefficient between a retaining member 1b and a recording paper 7 is greater than that between recording papers 7 and 8, the paper 7 slips between itself and the paper 8 and does not enter an automatic paper feeder 1, but is in waiting state near the inlet of the feeder 1. In this state, when the paper 8 is used out during reception, i.e., recording and scanning, the paper 7 in waiting state is automatically supplied to a recording section 2 in succession to the paper 8. Thus, the received information can continuously be recorded from the paper 8 to the paper 7, allowing to keep the information continuous.
