Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the response speed of a closing valve, by a method wherein, in the captioned valve provided with two pilot chambers, a pushing force, which is exerted on the valve body in the direction in that the valve body makes contact with a seat, and a pushing force, which is exerted in the direction in that the valve body is separated from the seat, are arranged in balance by a first and a second pilot chamber, respectively. CONSTITUTION:A first pilot chamber 34 is formed between a valve body 29 and a cover 33, and a second pilot chamber 38 is formed between the end surface of an extension part 29b, extending through a first liquid pressure chamber 31, of the valve body 29 and a cover 37. When a valve is opened, the valve body 29 is separated from the valve seat 30 through inputting of a high pilot pressure signal into a pilot port CB to communicate the first liquid pressure chamber 31 with a second liquid chamber 32. When the valve is closed, the valve body 29 is moved in the direction in that the valve body contacts the valve seat by inputting a pilot pressure signal in a pilot port CA to shut off the communication of the first liquid pressure chamber with the second liquid chamber. The pressure in the pilot chambers 34 and 38 is used for movement of the valve body 29, and this increases the response speed of a closing valve and an opening valve.
