PURPOSE: To prevent good external appearance from being lost by accommodating various sensors in an interface device and transmitting sensor information by a controller of a telephone set so as to decrease amount of wirings.
CONSTITUTION: A security telephone set 28 and a telephone set 2 attain talking within extensions and talking with an external telephone set through an extension talking line 8 and talking with an external telephone set through a trunk line 3 by transmitting and receiving a control signal via a control line 10. Further, a fire, gas leakage and an invader are detected by transmitting information of the various sensors 4∼7 connected to a sensor interface device 12 to a master telephone set 1 via the control line 10 and the telephone set 28 has security function of generation of alarm and announcement of the detection externally. Further, one or several sets of devices 12 are provided to each room, one or plural sensors 4∼7 are accomodated and the sensor information is transmitted via the control line 10. Thus, since the control line is used in common for the wirings to the telephone set 28, the number of wirings is less and the good appearance is maintained.
