Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a cold climate underwear having excellent heat insulating property when put on, excellent washing dimensional stability and good anti- pilling property and not having a stuffy touch by employing a three-layered fabric having outer and inner layers comprising synthetic filaments and wool and an intermediate layer comprising hydrophobic fibers. CONSTITUTION:A three-layered fabric having outer and inner layers each comprising composite fibers prepared by mutually dispersing and mixing synthetic filaments with wool in a density ratio of (1:6)-(3:4) and having an intermediate layer comprising hydrophobic fibers (e.g. polyester fibers) in an amount of 1.0-7.5wt.% based on the whole weight of the fabric to provide the objective cold climate underwear having e.g. a knitted rubber tissue 1, a body warmer pocket 2 and a collar button hole 3.
