USE: Prevention or treatment of human exhibiting hindered effect of tumor necrosis factor and/or lymphotoxin.

PREPARATION: This DNA is duplicated in a procaryotic or eukaryotic host cell organism containing an expression control sequence functionally binding to DNA (encoding secretable TNF binding protein) of formula II (R2 is not present in some cases or a DNA encoding a polypeptide capable of cleaving in vivo).
