Abstract:

To detect a motion which a user intends with non contact, thereby determining user's intention and controlling an up-and-down motion of a toilet seat as the intention.

A toilet apparatus detects a motion of at least part of a human body with a motion detection device 14; controls a toilet seat motor 5 in response to a motion detected by a motor control device 7; and rotates the toilet seat 4. The apparatus can detect the motion which the user intends and controls the motion of the toilet seat as the user's intention.
