To provide a toilet device, using the interior of a toilet room in the existing state, heightening the degree of freedom in disposing an operation part and enabling the operating part to be used for multi-purpose.
This toilet device 10 is provided on a toilet stool body 12 disposed in the toilet room 11, and has a functional part 14 operated by the operation part 13. A position detecting means 24 having a projecting part 22 and a light receiving part 23 and an image projecting means 26 having a projection part 25 for projecting an image of the operation part 13 are provided in the toilet room 11. In use, an image of the operation part 13 is displayed by the image projection means 26, and light projected from the projecting part 22 of the position detecting means 24 is reflected by a detecting body 27 specifying a part of the operation part 13. The reflected light is received by the light receiving part 23, whereby the specifying position of the operation part 13 is detected to operate a functional part 14.
