The control unit includes first detection means for detecting DC components of Doppler sensor signals outputted from the Doppler sensor, and second detection means for detecting frequency components included in the Doppler sensor signals, determines an installation environment of a door on the basis of at least one of transitions of the DC components and the frequency components of the Doppler sensor signals accompanying the opening operation of the door of the toilet room, sets a detection threshold according to the determined door installation environment, and executes a door opening detection mode of detecting the opening operation of the door.
