Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet device that can efficiently utilize ultraviolet light or prolong the lifetime of a light source device.SOLUTION: A toilet device includes: a toilet bowl which has a photocatalytic film formed on a surface of a bowl part; a toilet seat which can be opened from and closed to the toilet bowl; a toilet cover which is provided to be opened from and closed to the toilet bowl, and covers an outer peripheral part of the toilet seat and at least a part of a side face part of the toilet bowl in a closed state; a light source device which irradiates a surface of the bowl part with ultraviolet light; and a control part which executes control to irradiate the surface of the bowl part with the ultraviolet light by controlling the operation of the light source device with the toilet cover closed.
