Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an erroneous operation due to an erroneous detection of a Doppler sensor in a toilet seat device.SOLUTION: A toilet seat device including a toilet seat and a Doppler sensor using a radio wave detects an opened state/a closed state of the toilet seat when it detects the approach of a user to the toilet seat on the basis of a detection signal output from the Doppler sensor. When the toilet seat is in the opened state, it is assumed that the user is urinating. After detecting that the user has left the toilet seat, on the basis of a detection signal in a state that it is assumed that the user is urinating, the toilet seat device performs an operation after the use.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
