Abstract:
To provide a toilet seat lifting/lowering device, even when an outside diameter of a cylinder of a damper mechanism diminishes, capable of securing a buffer power of the damper mechanism in the toilet seat lifting/lowering device including the damper mechanism for moderating a lifting/lowering speed of a slider part to which the toilet seat is fixed.SOLUTION: The toilet seat lifting/lowering device includes a damper mechanism 13 for moderating the lifting/lowering speed of a slider part, the pneumatic damper including a cylinder 23c and a piston 34, where a seal member 35 is attached to the piston 34 and recessed parts recessed inward in a radial direction of the cylinder 23s are formed on an outer peripheral surface of a seal member attachment part 34b. The toilet seat lifting/lowering device includes vent holes for passing air exhausted from the inside of a tip end of the cylinder 23s to the outside in a base end of the cylinder 23s and air supplied from the outside in the base end of the cylinder 23s to the inside of the tip end of the cylinder 23c, formed between the seal member attachment part 34b and the seal member 35 by the recessed parts formed on the outer peripheral surface of the seal member attachment part 34b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
