Abstract:
To provide a toilet seat device capable of inhibiting a human body from touching a high-temperature toilet seat.SOLUTION: A toilet seat device attached to a toilet bowl includes: a toilet seat on which a user is seated; a human body detection sensor for detecting a human body; a toilet seat heater for heating the toilet seat; a toilet seat temperature detection sensor for detecting the temperature of the toilet seat; a toilet seat temperature control part for controlling the toilet seat heater on the basis of a result of the detection by the toilet seat temperature detection sensor; and a protection electronic circuit for executing fault diagnosis of components involved in the heating of the toilet seat, and when a fault is detected, prohibiting the heating by the toilet seat heater. The toilet seat temperature control part executes a heating mode for heating when a human body is detected in which the toilet seat heater is heated when the human body detection sensor detects a human body, and a heating mode for heating when a human body is not detected in which the toilet seat heater is heated when the human body detection sensor does not detect a human body. The protection electronic circuit executes the fault diagnosis when executing the heating mode for heating when a human body is detected and the heating mode for heating when a human body is not detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
