Abstract:
To properly sterilize a toilet seat with a simple configuration which suppresses the upsizing and cost increase of a toilet seat device.SOLUTION: A toilet seat device comprises: a toilet seat; a toilet lid that covers the toilet seat so as to form a predetermined space between the toilet lid and a sitting surface of the toilet seat in a closed state; a mist generating device communicating with an outlet disposed so as to be exposed to the predetermined space, and generating sterilized water mist; and a control device for controlling the mist generating device. In the toilet lid, a peripheral wall part extending to surround at least part of the circumferential edge of the toilet seat in the closed state, is disposed on the circumferential edge. The control device operates the mist generating device to perform sterilization, in the state where the toilet lid is closed, in such a manner that the sterilized water mist is generated and blown out from the outlet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
