Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet seat or toilet lid or an attachment thereof excellent in resistance to surface scratches.
SOLUTION: This toilet seat 1 or toilet lid 2 or an attachment thereof is such that the rate of decrease in surface glossiness (value measured at an incident angle of 60 degrees and a light receiving angle of 60 degrees according to JIS K7105) is 10% or less when a steel ball manufactured from injection molding of a polypropylene resin and having a diameter of 2 cm with a weight of 2 kg placed on toilet paper wound in triple layers thereon is made to reciprocate 10 times over a distance of 100 mm. A nonionic surfactant and, if necessary, a skid are added in predetermined amounts to the polypropylene resin and the steel ball is manufactured by injection molding thereof.
