Abstract:
PURPOSE: To select the ascent/descent of a toilet seat in a horizontal state or the one in an inclined state at need.
CONSTITUTION: This lifter is provided with a lifter unit which ascends/descends the toilet seat covering a toilet seat main body in a vertical direction, a gas spring 30 which holds the toilet seat in a inclined attitude so as to set a toilet seat back part higher than a toilet seat front part when the toilet seat is ascended, and a horizontal state maintaining means 40A to maintain the horizontal state of the toilet seat against the spring force of the gas spring 30. Either the inclined state of the toilet seat by the gas spring 30 or the horizontal state by the horizontal state maintaining means 40a is selected. The horizontal state maintaining means 40A is arranged at a position on an elevator unit side where the extension of the gas spring is blocked when the toilet seat is ascended.
