PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet seat which allows a filling flow into a groove between a main body member and a bottom plate member, and has improved appearance, and a production method thereof.SOLUTION: A toilet seat according to an embodiment comprises: a main body member; a bottom plate member; and a joint member for jointing the main body member and the bottom plate member. The main body member comprises a seat part for supporting a hip of a user, and side wall parts extending from an inner peripheral side and an outer peripheral side of the seat part. The bottom plate member comprises: a bottom plate part which faces the seat part; and protrusion parts which protrude from the bottom plate part toward a side, and pressed from end faces of the side wall parts. The joint member is formed by a filling which is poured so as to tightly contact a non-press surface other than the surfaces pressing the protrusion parts on the end faces of the side wall parts and a side surface of the bottom plate part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
