Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a toilet seat having a design property even after cutting.SOLUTION: There is provided a production method of a toilet seat comprising: a top plate part comprising a seat part for supporting a hip of a user, and side wall parts extending from an inner peripheral side and an outer peripheral side of the seat part downward, and having an inclined surface which is inclined so as to become wider outward as going to a lower side; and a bottom plate part having a bottom plate deposition part which is deposited and jointed to the side wall parts, the bottom plate part facing the seat part. The top plate part has a top plate deposition part which is provided on an outermost side on a lower end of the side wall parts, and deposited and jointed to the bottom plate deposition part. The top plate deposition part and the bottom plate deposition part are deposited and jointed. Then, using a machine tool comprising a cutter and a roller attached to an upper part of the cutter and has an outer diameter larger than that of the cutter, the roller is brought into contact with the inclined surface, and the cutter is moved along the inclined surface, for cutting parts of the bottom plate deposition part, the top plate deposition part, and the inclined surface, for forming a cut surface of a substantially vertical plane.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
