Abstract:
To provide a toilet seat lifting/lowering device, even when an outside diameter of a cylinder of a damper mechanism diminishes, capable of securing a buffer power of the damper mechanism in the toilet seat lifting/lowering device including the damper mechanism for moderating a lifting/lowering speed of a slider part to which the toilet seat is fixed.SOLUTION: The toilet seat lifting/lowering device includes a damper mechanism 13 for moderating the lifting/lowering speed of a slider part to which the toilet seat is fixed, the pneumatic damper including a cylinder 23c and a piston 34. The slider part includes a recessed part 23v communicated to the inside of a tip end of the cylinder 23s and communicated to the outside of the slider part, where a lid member 38 for closing the recessed part 23v is fitted in the recessed part 23v. An air passage groove for passing air exhausted from the inside of the cylinder 23s to the outside of the slider part and air supplied from the outside of the slider part to the inside of the cylinder 23c, is formed at least one of the outer peripheral surface of the lid member 38 and a lateral face of the recessed part 23v.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
