To improve the appearance of a toilet seat unit without exposing the lead wires, make it possible to move the controllers of toilet seat and of a toilet cover to the same side of a toilet seat box, and to simplify a wiring inside the toilet box, by making coaxial the supporting axes for the toilet seat and the toilet cover, and by passing those lead wires of electrical equipment for toilet seat and toilet cover through the same side of the supporting axis.
The toilet seat unit consists of a toilet seat box 3, which is placed and fixed on the upper face of a western style toilet stool, a toilet seat and a toilet cover 2, both of which are carrying electrical equipment inside. In the electrical equipment, each of the two parts on the left and right hands of its rear hem part is pivotally supported by the same axis against the toilet seat box 3. Brackets are jutting out and are respectively installed to the rear hem parts of the toilet seat and of the toilet cover 2. These brackets are pivotally supported on the toilet seat box 3 through an axis. The brackets 10, 11 of toilet seat lie between the brackets 12, 13 of toilet cover 2 and the toilet seat box 3. Such a toilet seat unit as this is also structured as the toilet seat and the toilet cover 2 are pivotally supported by a hollow axis in at least one of the above-mentioned pivotally supported parts on the left and the right hands. Lead wires 4a, 4b of the electrical equipment for the toilet seat and for the toilet cover are inserted to and passed through this hollow axis.
