Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a toilet seat to be properly restricted in a predetermined open position even when the toilet seat is used with a toilet lid removed.SOLUTION: A toilet seat unit is provided in which a toilet lid is removable, the toilet lid being freely turnably supported by a turning shaft and restricting the turning of a toilet seat at a predetermined open position when the toilet lid is fully opened. In the toilet seat unit, a stopper member is mounted to the turning shaft through an adapter instead of the toilet lid while the toilet seat is removed. As a result, the turning of the toilet seat can properly be restricted in the predetermined open position even when the toilet seat is used with the toilet lid removed. The stopper member is mounted to the turning shaft through the adapter, and therefore the stopper member can properly be mounted while the stopper member is made suitable for restriction of the turning of the toilet seat.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
