Abstract:
To provide a toilet soap composition which is excellent in molding and punching workability at the time of manufacturing soap, softness at the time of use, smoothness, bubble forming and moisturing properties.
This toilet soap composition comprises 50-90 pts.wt. of a mixture containing a monoglyceride sulfonate of formula 1 and a fatty acid soap at the mixing ratio of 1:0.3-0.03:1, 1-12 pts.wt. of a fatty acid and 1-25 pts.wt. of a linking agent (plasticizer) or an excipient. The monoglyceride sulfonate contains not less than 60% of the one whose RCOO-portion is derived from lauric acid or myristic acid. In formula 1, R is a 7-21C alkyl and M is sodium, potassium, triethanol amine or ammonia.
