Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the physical properties such as rigidity, heat resisting property, anti-surface flaw property, acid resistance or the like under the hard condition exposed to an acid detergent by using a specified highly crystalline property polypropylene composition consisting of a highly crystalline polypropylene and a nucleating agent for material resin of a toilet stool seat and stool lid.
CONSTITUTION: A nucleating agent in a content of 0.01-5.0 pts.wt. is blended with 100 pts.wt. of a highly crystalline polypropylene. If the nucleating agent is less than 0.01 pts.wt., rigidity is insufficient, and if it is more than 5.0 pts.wt., the economical effect is not attained and uneconomical. A highly crystalline polypropylene composition consisting of 100 pts.wt. of highly crystalline polypropylene and 0.01-5.0 pts.wt. of nycleating agent is used for injection molding to produce a toilet stool 1 and lid. Thus, the physical properties of rigidity, surface flaw-resisting property, luster, weight sensation or the like can be maintained satisfactorily even if the toilet stool and lid are subjected to washing by acid detergent for a long period under heating condition.
