PURPOSE: To use a detection signal in a wide range of application by arranging a load sensor on the lower plane of the leg part of a western style toilet stool main body and using a piezoelectric sensor, more desirably, semiconductor sensor as the load sensor.
CONSTITUTION: A load display device is mounted on the seat 2a of the toilet stool 2 of a western style closet A, and the piezoelectric sensor 3 as the load sensor is fixed by adhering in the periphery of an opening 2a on the lower plane of the seat 2a. The output voltage of the piezoelectric sensor 3 changing in proportion to a load, after passing a voltage amplifier and an A/D converter arranged in a control part 2d, is inputted to a microcomputer which controls a toilet stool heater provided in the toilet stool 2 with washer, a hip washing water heater, a hip washing water discharge valve and a driving device for forward/backward movement of a washing nozzle, etc. The microcomputer outputs a control signal to the driving device of the washing nozzle based on the distribution of the load applied to the seat 2a, and guides the washing water discharge port of the washing nozzle to the optimum position.
