Abstract:
To provide a reliable and sure method for appropriately utilizing tokens surely without being duplicated unauthorizedly on a mobile network.
A token transfer to a mobile terminal 20 is supported, and the token is associated with a retailer 22 using the mobile terminal 20 to be exchanged. Token exchange requires the mobile terminal 20 to perform two-way communication with a transaction system of the retailer 22. The token preferably includes or is associated with a price or published information about a related product or service. The token is authenticated with a reliable method for making sure that exchange occurs according to its issuer's specifications.
