To provide a token passage structure in which on the basis of operation of an operation member, movement of a regulating member in a prescribed direction actualizes a state for rolling a token in a token route and a state for allowing the token in the token route to flow down toward a token discharge route, and in which the movement of the operation member in the operating direction thereof is smoothly transferred to the movement of the regulating member in the prescribed direction even when the operating direction of the regulating member and the prescribed direction of the regulating member are orthogonally crossed with each other.

The token passage structure includes a direction converting structure 45 for converting the operation movement direction of the operation member 44 into the thickness direction movement of the regulating member 43. The direction converting structure 45 includes a rotary member 45b for converting the operation direction movement into the thickness direction movement by rotation.
