To provide a token selector for a game machine surely discharging fraudulent tokens, causing no "swallowing" phenomenon (erroneously discharging regular tokens), surely counting and managing regular tokens, and allowing a player to play at ease.
This token selector is characterized in having; a bottom part rail forming the bottom of an inclined token passage extending from an inlet to a receiving hole for passing the tokens fed from the inlet; a first side wall forming one side of the token passage and having a notch part capable of discharging the token from the token passage to the side; a cancel member openably/closably covering the notch part; a second side wall forming the other side of the token passage and having a block member projecting hole at an upper half height position of the token and closer to the downstream side than the notch part; a block member projecting from the block member projecting hole to the upper part in the token passage and retreating outside the token passage; a detecting means detecting the token in the token passage; and a control part importing the detecting result of the detecting means and controlling the opening/closing operation of the cancel member and the projecting/retreating operation of the block member.
