In the meantime, immediately prior to driving out of the toll road, this definite signal is transmitted to the side of the toll road control organization 64 by depressing a confirm button, for example, a 'sharp' sign button of the portable telephone 60, simultaneously with operating of the on-hook 61 of the portable telephone 60. The position of the toll road user is determined by the determing circuit 66 according to the portable telephone using signal on the side of the toll road control organization 64, and the used toll with the position of the user is displayed on the display part 67 of this portable telephone 60.
