To provide a tone comparison device in which colored pieces are arranged systematically so as to easily study the tones of an interior or the like as a means of a comfortable living space so that the positions of respective colors can be grasped on a panel and the range of colors of the natural materials can be instantly checked.
Colored pieces 2 colored in different colors are so disposed as to vary the hue into the gradation shape in the horizontal direction and also to vary the tone into the gradation shape in the vertical direction are disposed on a panel 3, and a transparent slide panel 4 movable in the left and right direction is provided in parallel with the panel 3 on the surface side of the panel 3, and also the slide panel 4 is set in front of the panel 3, and in the state described as all above, an encircling line 4a is so formed on the side of the surface of the slide panel 4 as to encircle a number of colored pieces 2 in the range same as the range of the colors provided in the given material when the panel 3 is looked at through the slide panel 4 from the front side of the panel 3.
